ABOUT PROGRAMS

Since 1970, the Huskies Hockey Club has been committed to growing and developing youth hockey in the Chicago area and bringing the wonderful game of hockey to as many children as possible.   Our philosophy has been to offer a progression of youth programs that satisfies every level of hockey skill and interest.   Below you will find a description of the many programs offered by the Huskies to help you find the one that is right for you.   If you are not sure what the best place for your child would be or if you have any questions on the Huskies Hockey Club, please submit your question to information@huskieshockeyclub.com .

Youth hockey in the United States is divided into age divisions based upon year of birth.   For the 2005-2006 season, these division are as follows:

         Mite: Born in 1998 or later

         Squirt:   Born in 1996-1997

         Peewee: Born in 1994-1995

         Bantam:   Born in 1992-1993

         Midget:   Born in 1988-1991
