Since 1969, the Huskies Hockey Club has been committed to growing and developing youth hockey players in the Chicago area. Our travel teams consist of mite (8U), squirt (10U), peewee (12U), and bantam (14U) levels, and, starting in 2024, we will be bringing back our midget (16U/18U) program. We believe in the importance of creating a memorable and positive experience for each and every member of our club, and our goal is to help each player achieve theirs. Players learn to sharpen their focus as they develop the skills to execute and compete against other hockey clubs in the area.
We recognize and value the commitment you make to ensure your child can participate in this incredible sport. At the Huskies, we prioritize player development above all else. We firmly believe that hard work and exceptional coaching are the keys to success. Additional features of our travel program include:
Sunday, March 17th
Join the Huskies as we walk in the Plainfield St. Patrick's Day parade and hand out candy and foam pucks to kids along the route. Please contact Angie Sullivan for more information.

Thank you to all the friends and families who came out to the United Center to cheer the team on to victory. Your support means everything and makes us incredibly proud to be part of the Huskies family!
The energy in the rink was incredible, and we thank everyone for their support in coming out to cheer them on as well. The future is bright for this group of Huskies!
"Transferring to the Huskies was the best and most positive experience we could give our son. His development in one season has been tremendous and we look forward to another season with the Huskies and watching our son grow into a more advanced and smart hockey player!"
"This was the first year of my son’s travel experience. What a difference from the start of the season to the end of the season. Practices really challenged the teams and they grew to make the right plays with the puck. Can’t wait for next year!"
"Being a goalie parent it is hard to get good goalie coaching from a program, and you almost always have to seek private lessons outside of your club. However, the Huskies do a great job developing their goalies by investing in great goalie coaches that are available to your kids all season long. Great Job Huskies!"
Chad Green will continue to serve as Hockey Director and oversee the entire program, and we are excited that former Huskies player Jeff Wilkie will join us to support our players’ development and help them reach their full potential. Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome back Jim Stanaway, who will continue his exceptional work in goaltender development. Check back often as our full lineup of coaches will be announced soon.
