All youth hockey programs are designed and led by Rocky Saganiuk . Rocky began, developed, and played his youth hockey in Canada. He later played in the Canadian Major Junior leagues where he was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. Rocky played 8 years professional hockey with both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Pittsburgh Penguins, before injury forced him to retire as a player.
Rocky then began his coaching career which took him and his family to Great Britain, USA, and back to Canada. After 10 years of professional coaching, designing successful youth programs, and developing players for the NHL, Rocky has now made his mark in Illinois hockey. His valuable knowledge attained from the coaches and players he has been associated with, along with the numerous hockey seminars he has attended, all go in hand with his life's accomplishments and experiences in the hockey field. This allows Rocky to share and develop these skills with all aspiring hockey players who have participated in his programs.
Led by Rocky Saganiuk, the Little Huskies programs will become a proven success in the development of both the beginning and experienced player. Rocky and his staff carefully design and instruct programs for every players needs. He believes in keeping lessons fun through discipline, education, and the dedication needed to be successful in hockey.
