Text Box: Welcome to the first edition of “Huskies Headlines”. This newsletter is designed to keep the Huskies membership informed and aware of everything going on within the Huskies and around the youth hockey community.
Issues will be published monthly during the off-season and bi-monthly during the Fall Season. These will be distributed via the Huskies e-mail subscription with current and past copies archived on our website.
Some headlines will change with each issue, and some will be permanent sections. The permanent sections include:The Presidents Letter, a note Text Box: from the president of the Huskies Hockey Club, Joe Pedota.
The International Ice Centre Update, while this is temporary until the facility is completed, it will remain a part of the standard format a few months into next season.
Featured Huskies, will feature a different director, coach, player or team in each issue. Team managers, coaches, parents and players are encouraged to submit features during the season as they choose. We will do our best to publish all of them.
Manager’s Corner, special tips to and from
Huskies managers in an
Text Box: effort to make their lives easier.
Contributions from members are always welcome and encouraged. Do you have and idea for a headline? Send it in. Team successes, player experiences, coaching stories, anything that you would like to share.
The purpose is to keep the members informed and educated. All submissions should be positive in nature, no negative articles will be accepted.
We hope that you enjoy this newsletter and that it fulfills your informational needs.
