Travel League Hockey
Travel hockey is the most competitive level of hockey offered by the Huskies at the AA level. During the fall season, our travel teams are entered in the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL) and the Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL), two of the finest AA leagues in the Midwest. During the shorter spring season, our travel teams are entered in the South West Spring League (SWSL). Travel hockey is available to Mite thru Midget divisions and are chosen by club appointed coaches using a tryout process overseen by our hockey directors.
Despite the competitive nature of travel hockey, the Huskies are committed to the development of its players regardless of their level of play. It is our commitment to provide ample practice time and quality instruction throughout the season including mandatory Power Skate and Goalie Clinic sessions.
Our travel hockey programs include practice ice, league game ice, power skates, goalie clinics, coaches, referees, jerseys and socks. In addition to league games, all travel players should expect to participate in non-league tournaments throughout the season which are selected by coaches and parents after teams are formed.
