Midget Program with Coach Colin McAuliffe Starts Tonight!

The Huskies still have a few spots remaining for the Midget Spring session which starts tonight (April 13). Coach Colin McAuliffe is excited to lead this program get started with drills and small area games.

Coach Colin McAuliffe is a Tinley Park, IL native, playing his youth hockey with the Orland Park Vikings and double rostering with Andrew High School in his last year of eligibility. After Colin's youth career he went onto play three years of Juniors finishing his career setting several league records and capping it off with a bid to Nationals with the Chicago Jr Bulldogs. After mulling over some injuries after his last year in Juniors Colin decided to hang up his skates and transition into coaching right away getting his start at Canlan coaching in the YHL and Adult Learn to Play programs as well as jumping on as assistant coach for Plainfield High School. After 3 years of coaching with those programs Colin took a year break to finish up school receiving his Diploma in Brewing Sciences from The Siebel Institute, along with several IT certifications. After a short year break Colin jumped back on the bench taking on several head coaching jobs with Spartans Hockey Club, Romeoville Rebels, YHL and Huskies Midget NIHL. Coach Colin is currently entering his sixth season as head coach with Spartans Hockey Club's Varsity team.
