Chad Green

Hockey Director

Chad grew up in the Chicagoland area loving hockey and playing locally.  He was All-State, All-conference, All-State Academic at Fenwick High School.  After high school, He played his college hockey at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. 

Coach Green has more than 23 years of extensive coaching experience. He is a USA Hockey certified 
hockey director as well as a level 5 Master USA Hockey coach.

He has worked with all levels including: learn to skate, Youth NIHL, CSDHL, High School, Collegiate, USA Hockey National Development Camp Team Leader U17’s & USA Hockey Central District Coach & Evaluator.

USA Hockey Magazine named him Coach of the month in 2010 & he was also named AHAI Youth Coach of the Year 2017.

In addition, he also has over 8 years in scouting experience for numerous teams in the USHL, NAHL & College.

Coach Green is also involved greatly with the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois serving on 3 committees: Coaching- CEP certified instructor, Player Development- Coach & Evaluator and the American Development Model Committee. 

The Huskies Hockey Club is excited to have Coach Green lead our Hockey program.  He will be involved in all aspects of training, conditioning and skill development as well as a Huskies Head Coach.

Jeff Wilkie

Director of Player Development

The Huskies Hockey Club is excited to welcome back our Director of Player Development, Jeff Wilkie. Jeff started his youth playing career with the Huskies before moving on the AAA. He played collegiately at Western Michigan and professionally for the Peoria Rivermen. After coaching with the Huskies for 4 seasons Jeff coached for Team Illinois (AAA) and the Falcons (CS). He now returns to the Huskies to help each player develop and hone their skills, and foster their love for the game.

Joe Tomasek

Director of Early Development

Joe oversees the Lil Huskies, Future Huskies, Little Blackhawks, and the Mite/8u programming, as well as being a Head Coach.  As a player, Joe started his hockey career playing for the Flames. He progressed to play at both the CSDHL and AAA level. He ended up playing for 4 years at Illinois State University. After his playing career, he began coaching at the Admirals and continued to coach there for 6 years. After the Admirals merged to become the Flames, he served as their Early Development Director and Squirt NIHL 1 coach for 2 years. He also is an Elementary Physical Education teacher in Lemont.

Jim Stanaway

Goalie Director

Jim Stanaway will begin his Xth season working with Huskies goaltenders. A native of Marquette Michigan, Jim, has worked with kids of all ages and skill levels. After graduating from Northern Michigan University, Jim coached Junior A, Midget AAA, high school hockey, and started Goalies, Inc. – a premier choice for goaltending instruction in the United States. Dozens of players under Coach Stanaways direction have reached their goals of playing at the NCAA level.
